Course Syllabus

The 21st century classroom is different than the classrooms of yester-year. The students we teach, the lessons we use and the materials available to us are unique to the modern day classroom. This course is designed to address aspects of classroom management specific to today’s classrooms. An exploration of both basic classroom management techniques for the novice and new and inventive strategies for the experienced classroom teacher will be provided. The skills and approaches to classroom management presented in this course are fresh, innovative, empowering, hassle-free and above all, practical.

In-Service or CTLE Professional Development You can only receive one type of certificate, please register accordingly. There will be no switching of certificate status after the start date of a class.

(This will allow teachers enrolled in this course to include all aspects of the CCSS in their lessons and comply with New York State and Administrative directives. )
develop a proficiency in understanding how Common Core Standards fall in to the instructional technology lesson design as well as the application of the new standards.
