  4. the pros and cons of using Student Centered Pedagogy and the Station Model in their classes.

  1. that the Station model allows for differentiation of instruction in the classroom using fewer materials.
  2. how to follow a series of steps to create their own set of stations.
  3. how stations can be used in a variety of ways for different activities (i.e. introduction to a new topic, learning new material, review, assessment, etc).
  4. how to incorporate technology, Piaget’s cognitive levels, and Gardner’s multiple intelligences into the station model.
  5. How to address the NYS standards using the station model.
 

and Be Able To

  1. develop stations at an elementary, intermediate, regents or honors level.
  2. develop an interdisciplinary approach to stations.
  3. evaluate student performance using stations.
  4. have students design lessons using the station model.
  5. develop lessons that utilize the Station Model to differentiate their instruction.
